The role(s) of the Pelvic Floor

Our pelvic floor is a group of muscles; forming much like a “hammock”, as well as connective tissues that form this hammock across the base of our pelvis.
These muscles play a crucial role in various ways:
So you can see how - not only crucial - but varied the roles are and in such important ways of living day to day. And as such it makes easy to understand then why we need to strengthen this region, focus on posture and core and pelvic floor function.

Remember that caring for the pelvic floor is truly an investment in your independence, dignity and VITALITY! We don’t have to accept what has been the narrative for so long that “this is age”. This isn’t age! With support, awareness and knowledge YOU can build a foundation of strength that carries you forward. Literally and figuratively!
